Nearly (5) years ago we started the Career Matching Program (CMP) by identifying (2) young men we wanted to highlight as participants of our mentorship program: Brothers Reggie Reed and Theron Smith. Now what is so remarkable about any success CMP can claim over the years, is the fact that without the young men of the Phi Lambda Chapter, our measurables wouldn’t exist to show that the program is having any impact among our college students. Corporate sponsorship has rewarded the OCUF program more than $70,000 over the life of the program and here’s an example of the empirical data that I submit to our sponsors to show that we are worthy of their philanthropy:
OCUF tracks a total of (45) STEM students in the Mentorship program over (5) years
Of the (45) students, (17) are now college graduates:
Of the (17) college graduates, (13) are Phi Lambda Brothers, (7) graduating this summer alone.

Since the inception of CMP there has been (16) Brothers in the Phi Lambda Chapter and by the summers end, all of them would have graduated except Brother Brandyn Baker who will be a senior next year. I am so proud of these young men and the way they present themselves, their academic accomplishments, their commitment to community outreach and service and most importantly, how they represent us all by being outstanding young men of Omega Psi Phi.
So again Brothers, there would not be a CMP mentorship program without the classroom success of the Phi Lambda Brothers. Our partnership and friendship has truly been win-win for the both of us.
